Our Explorer Curriculum follows an early developmental, sensory approach to learning, with an emphasis on engagement. The curriculum is focused on communication and cognition as well as physical, emotional and social skills.

 

It is a fundamental part of our curriculum for our pupils to engage in physical activities throughout the day. The children achieve as much independence as possible to improve their functional skills. They gain confidence and learn how to express themselves by making choices and being heard. 

 

We focus on the individual needs of the children and encourage them to make connections and respond to the world and people around them. Motivating lessons help to engage children and create a sense of enjoyment and happiness.
